Donate Supplies:  Show your support by sending supplies to Chicago Pet Rescue!

While we always need monetary donations, a gift of supplies benefits our rescued animals as well.

One idea is to start a collection for any of the following supplies. You can bring them to our next event or email us at savinganimals@chicagopetrescue.org to discuss drop off or pick up.

What we need the most is one or more sponsors for our public storage space! Most donations (including the storage space sponsorship!) are tax-deductible.

Sponsor a Pet:

If you are unable to adopt a pet, please consider becoming a CPR Sponsor for a Pet, for Medical needs or for Storage needs.

Individual or Group Sponsors

Choose a pet from our current list of animals waiting to be adopted, and then make a donation to support that pet.

You can also choose to donate supplies to benefit a particular pet.

Here are some suggested sponsorship amounts as a one time or recurring monthly donation:
$20: microchip a dog or cat
$25: feed a puppy or kitten for 2 weeks
$50: one-time vaccine for a cat or dog
$100: spay or neuter a puppy or kitten

Your donation will help defray some of the costs of food, housing and medical care for the animals waiting for adoption.

In return for your donation, you will get:
A picture of the pet you are sponsoring
Their history of how they arrived at CPR
Notification when your pet has been adopted
Best of all: A great feeling inside!

If you you would like to have your sponsorship acknowledged, your name can be noted on our page here and Facebook.

Corporate Sponsors

Do you own or work for a company that would like to sponsor one or more pets? Please email savinganimals@chicagopetrescue.org

We will add your company logo to our monthly newsletter and to our page here, with a link back to your website. You will also get all of the above donation benefits.

Create your own CPR Fundraiser or Donation Drive

Fundraiser for CPR

Ways YOU can raise funds - your imagination is the limit when it comes to helping our homeless animals.

From lemonade stands to tributes and memorials, you can host a fundraiser for Chicago Pet Rescue.  Your fundraisers not only raise awareness but also much needed funds for our homeless animals. With these funds we can continue to provide medical care and supplies without hesitation.

Ready, Set, START by choosing something from the list below! Here are some event ideas:

*In Honor of...:  This way you can honor a person or celebrate an important event or milestone like a birthday, graduations or bar/bat mitzvah. Many animal-lovers opt for donations in lieu of gifts and use their CPR fundraising to tell people about what they are doing and collect donations.

*Front & Center Donation: Get permission to set up a table in front of your grocery or local store to collect donations. This is a very effective way to raise both funds and awareness.

*Lemonade or Beer Stand: Get your kids or neighbors involved and have them feel like they are joining you as you make a difference.  You can set this up anytime or during a block party!

*A Favor: In lieu of giving a favor at a wedding, birthday party or similar event, let guests know you’ve made a donation to CPR in their name. Work with your hands: Offer your services by babysitting, shoveling snow, mowing grass, running errands, etc., in exchange for donations.

*Pet Birthday Party: Have a fun birthday party for your pet or a friend’s pet. Give dog biscuits as party favors! Ask for a donation at the door. Take photos of your guests with the guest of honor.

Donation Drives

Donation Drives can happen anywhere:
-at school or in a classroom
-in Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts
-in other service organizations
-in a neighborhood
-among a group of friends
-at your home

Donation Drives can collect:
-supplies
-cash
-unused Gift Cards

Some of our CPR Fundraisers / Drives

*Loose Change Day at Work or School: Ask your work or child’s school to hold a Loose Change Day. Make a flyer encouraging each person or child to bring in loose change to donate. Encourage math classes to assist with counting and rolling the change then take it to your local bank for deposit. You can then donate via cash or Paypal to the rescue.

*Spare Change: Ask your favorite restaurant or local pub to put out a jar for donations of spare change. Decorate it with pictures of CPR animals. Ask them to display the jar somewhere it will get plenty of attention and please visit them often to empty and then donate it at any up coming event.

*Garage Sale: Ask friends and neighbors to donate items to sell. Make signs indicating that all proceeds are going to Chicago Pet Rescue. Feel free to add a donation jar, too.

*Donate in your adopted pet's name for their GOTCHA DAY (day they were adopted) OR THEIR BIRTHDAY.  We invite you to challenge your friends and family on social media to donate and wish your pet a happy Gotcha or Bday.

Email us with any other ideas to add to this list.
