Chicago Pet Rescue is a 501c(3) non-profit, foster home and volunteer-based rescue, dedicated to rescuing homeless animals. We do not have a central location as most of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found.

Foster Homes Desperately Needed!
By making the commitment to foster, you can truly change the life of a homeless pet. The foster program is an important part of our organization and allows us to place our pets into safe and loving households, while they await their permanent homes.
We will pay for all veterinary care, food and other necessary supplies while you provide a safe and loving foster home.

Chicago Pet Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Adoption Fees only partially cover the cost of caring for our animals. Rescues such as ours do not get government funding. All costs of caring for a pet in our rescue are borne by our rescue alone. We depend solely on adoption fees and donations to operate. Although we do receive a slight discount from our vet, we DO NOT receive free vet services. Much of the time, we barely break even on the costs of the pets in our care.
