Adoption Requirements
Our adopters must be at least 21 years of age and live in within 1 hour of the Chicago Area (60631). We do NOT adopt to out-of-state applicants. Please contact your landlord or condo associations ahead of time to let them know of your interest in adopting and provide their contact information, so we may verify that you are allowed to have the pet you are applying for and willing to complete the interview and home check process.

Adoption Pending status does not mean the animal is adopted, just means we are not currently taking any new applications for the animal and we are in the process of reviewing current applications. If the current applicants don't work out then the adoption pending status will be removed and other applications will be taken into consideration.
