Notes on Adopting Cats:
Kittens under 12 weeks old: We do our best to determine the gender of all available kittens, but it's sometimes difficult to know for sure until they see a vet when they're between 8 and 12 weeks old. Kitten listings are subject to change.
CPR's Position on Declawing: CPR is opposed to declawing cats for the convenience of their guardians. Declawing is NOT allowed.
Cats with an Ear Tip: An adoptable cat may be missing a small piece of their ear, known as Ear Tipping. This is done as part of the feral package (spay/neuter and rabies vaccine). This is an universally recognized, safe and humane procedure that is done while the cat is under anesthesia for spay/neuter surgery. An ear tip is a visual indicator that a cat has previously been altered and vaccinated, which can be seen from a distance, and prevents re-trapping. When they are first trapped we don't know if they will be friendly or feral. Once they have been fixed, we evaluate and, if they are friendly, they are made available for adoption.

Asahi (Female)
Hello there, I'm Asahi, a grey and white tabby kitten about 7 months old as of May. I'm young and still learning about this big world, but I'm full of curiosity. I'm a little shy, but don't let that fool you. I have a playful side that comes out when I'm around my feline friends or find a great toy. I’m curious about humans and like pets once I get comfortable. Belly rubs are my favorite and then my meow is tiny, but packed with sweetness. Just a little note though, I'm not a big fan of being picked up. I prefer to have my paws on the ground, where I can explore and play. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I promise you a world of joy. I'm not just a pet, I'm a companion. I'm ready to find a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. |
Please note: These kittens should be adopted with another cat/kitten or have a resident/current cat in the home.
They are currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make one or both a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

Kaba & her son Kiko
Kaba & Kiko are currently living together and can be adopted together or separately, however, as a kitten, Kiko needs to have another cat in the home. They are fixed, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.
Kaba (Female)
Say hello to Kaba, a beautiful, mostly white cat with gorgeous yellow eyes that add a touch of charm to her gentle appearance. She also has brown tabby spots on her ears, lower back and tail. Kaba’s story is one of resilience and quiet strength. She was a street-smart survivor, braving the harshest winter days with determination, always staying close but keeping her distance. When her pregnancy became evident, fate intervened, and Kaba was brought inside just in time to deliver five healthy kittens the next morning. At just about 1 year old, Kaba has already shown incredible bravery and grace. She’s a relaxed and thoughtful soul, content with her surroundings and appreciative of the love she receives. She’s calm, composed, and has a kindness about her that speaks to the depth of her character. Kaba has peacefully coexisted with a German Shepherd, showing no real conflict, and has adapted well to her new life indoors. She isn’t a fan of the other cats in the foster home but enjoys the company of her son Kiko. Kaba’s journey is one of quiet resilience, and she’s now ready to settle into the life she’s earned—a life filled with comfort, care, and all the love she so deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, and kind companion, Kaba is ready to be that special part of your life. She can be adopted with or without Kiko. |
Kiko (Male)
Kiko is a charming 4-month-old kitten (as of August) with a sleek white coat with black spots and bright yellow eyes, like his mom. As the son of Kaba, Kiko has always been a trailblazer, showing his independent nature early on. He was the first of his siblings to venture out of the den, try solid food, and master the litter box, making him a natural leader but somehow is the last to find his forever family. Despite his adventurous spirit, Kiko is also incredibly affectionate. He enjoys your attention and petting before setting off on his next playful exploration or finding a cozy spot to nap. He enjoys playing with the family dog and cats, and his mom, of course. Kiko’s playful energy is infectious—he loves to chase toys, carry them around the house, and invite you to join in the fun. Kiko brings joy and warmth wherever he goes. His curious and sweet nature makes him a delightful companion who’s ready to fill your home with laughter and love. If you’re looking for a kitten with a perfect blend of affection and adventure, Kiko is your guy. He can be adopted with his mom Kaba or separately if you have another cat at home. |
