If you can't adopt, please donate. Thank you for helping to save a life!

Meeting our cats
We have cats at local pet stores and in foster homes. You can look at the cats at the pet stores,
but CPR limits meeting the cats at the pet stores as well as the cats in foster care until after your application is approved.

Notes on Adopting Cats:
Kittens under 12 weeks old: We do our best to determine the gender of all available kittens, but it's sometimes difficult to know for sure until they see a vet when they're between 8 and 12 weeks old. Kitten listings are subject to change.
CPR's Position on Declawing: CPR is opposed to declawing cats for the convenience of their guardians. Declawing is NOT allowed.
Cats with an Ear Tip: An adoptable cat may be missing a small piece of their ear, known as Ear Tipping. This is done as part of the feral package (spay/neuter and rabies vaccine). This is an universally recognized, safe and humane procedure that is done while the cat is under anesthesia for spay/neuter surgery. An ear tip is a visual indicator that a cat has previously been altered and vaccinated, which can be seen from a distance, and prevents re-trapping. When they are first trapped we don't know if they will be friendly or feral. Once they have been fixed, we evaluate and, if they are friendly, they are made available for adoption.

Asteroids & Sonic
Meet Asteroids & Sonic!
Asteroids & Sonic are double without the trouble! Both are domestic short hair cats around 2 years old. Being bonded brothers, they need to be adopted together, and are purrfect for a loving home looking to adopt two cats who already know and love each other. Asteroids is a handsome orange & white cat. The more reserved of the two brothers, he is a bit hesitant with people at first (aren’t we all!) but he quickly warms up and will let you pick him up and pet him. It’ll be rewarding once you finally win him over, as he will even settle down for a night of cuddles. Sonic is a good-looking buff-orange tabby cat. The more outgoing of the two brothers, he is very friendly and enjoys frequent pets. Expect a warm welcome home from this one after a long day at work. But be aware, his greeting may just be a rouse to get you to pick him up for snuggles. Their favorite pastimes include playing with each other, exploring, and ruling over their kitty condo & tower. Both boys are also big connoisseurs of the kitty squeeze treats. Both are fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. They are currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make them a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $250 ($125 EACH) will also benefit other CPR rescue animals. Current Location: Foster Home |

Beer kittens - Tyskie & Zywiec
This is the type of dark beer anyone can love!
Tyskie (M) is a handsome, playful black Domestic Shorthair mix kitten with just a hint of white on his chest. Zywiec (F) is a pretty, friendly black Domestic Shorthair mix kitten with a tuft of white on her chest. Tyskie and Zywiec are living together. They can be adopted together or separately if there is a cat already in the home. They spend most of their day playing and napping. Zywiec is a bit smaller than Tyskie, but she is just as energetic. They are quite entertaining to watch or interact with. Both are affectionate, playful and curious: your typical young kittens. They will make someone great pets! Please note: Each cat must be adopted with another cat/kitten or must have a resident/current cat in the home. They are each looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until they/she is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, they/she will be living with you and you will be responsible for them/her (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until they/she are/is fixed. That usually happens around 6 months for females, depending on what the vet says. Tyskie and Zywiec are up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. They are currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make one or more of them a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals. Current Location: Foster Home |
